OLD VIC - Workshop (Oct '08)

Credits &Awards

Course Overview:

The Old Vic have partnered with Poisson Rouge Pictures (PRP) to develop a new strand within their successful Old Vic New Voices (OVNV) scheme. The Old Vic, headed by Kevin Spacey, aims to support young and emerging talent, to source and develop new work for production and to open up that work to new and diverse audiences. Initially conceived to nurture young writers for the theatre, the OVNV will now help those same writers looking to branch out in to film.

The aim is not to teach the writers how to format or structure their scripts. Instead, this fresh approach aims to equip the writer with the tools to create a stronger, more appealing script, by understanding the process a script is submitted to from first idea through to theatrical release.
