With a degree in law from Oxford and following a short stint with EMI Records, Bernadette Thomas started her legal career in the City. Having decided to concentrate on working for clients in the media industry she became a senior associate in the media team of Norton Rose where she focused on film production and financing. Bernadette has worked on projects for, among others, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sacha Brookes, Peter Andre, Sony and EMI. Among the projects on which she has been engaged in an advisory capacity are the free-to-air television offering Freeview, the IOC acquisition of the 1936 Olympiad rights from Leni Riefenstahl and the Goal! trilogy for adidas. Bernadette was Executive Producer on Poisson Rouge’s latest project, The Hide, directed by Marek Losey. Other recent productions on which she has been involved are Mr Nobody, Mes Amis Mes Amours, Angel, Arsene Lupin, Rain and the BBC production Fallen Angel.
