Watch out for....

Bola Agbaje, an award-winning young playwright whose first play, the scorching Gone Too Far!, enjoyed a couple of successful runs at the Royal Court. 

She is now working on a screenplay about two brothers: one who has been raised on a London housing estate; the other in Nigeria.

It’s a tale familiar to me, but Ms Agbaje’s play marked the first time anyone had dealt with such a topic with dramatic fire and humour. 

The UK Film Council’s development fund, backed by the Lottery, is sponsoring the playwright and producer Christopher Granier-Deferre to develop a film.
